Senate Passes Patent Reform Bill12:05 PM MDT | March 14, 2011 | Kara Sissell The Senate recently approved the America Invents Act, a bipartisan bill that updates the nation’s patent system for the first time in more than 50 years. The bill, which passed 95-5, is sponsored by Senators Patrick Leahy (D., VT), Orrin Hatch (R., UT), and Charles Grassley (R., IA).
