Rail Shipper Group Opposes New STB Nominee

Rail shipper group Consumers United for Rail Equity (Cure; Washington) says it has asked the Senate to reject the Bush Administration’s recent nomination of Husein Cumber as a member of the Surface Transportation Board (STB; Washington), for a term expiring in 2013. Cumber is the Transportation Department’s deputy chief of staff.
