EnviroTech :: Regulatory OSHA Launches National Emphasis Program for Chemicals2:06 PM MDT | July 29, 2009 | Kara Sissell OSHA today announced the launch of its National Emphasis Program (NEP) for the chemical sector, saying it will initially focus on facilities in New England, the Midwest, and the Pacific Northwest. However, OSHA says NEP inspections could happen elsewhere in the country, although those would be more likely to be the result of an accident or compliant.
