Monsanto’s Sales Tactics Challenged

The American Corn Growers Association (ACGA; Washington) has filed a lawsuit in federal court seeking to prevent Monsanto from requiring the farm supply firms that purchase Monsanto seeds to buy Monsanto brand glyphosate as well. Part of the problem is that Monsanto has acquired so much of the seed market, it is making it difficult for customers to buy generic glyphosate at lower prices, ACGA says.
