EnviroTech :: Regulatory Koch Sues DuPont Over Invista Dispute2:35 PM MDT | April 2, 2008 | Chemical Week Editorial Staff Koch Industries’ (Wichita, KS) subsidiary Invista has sued DuPont and is seeking more than $800 million in punitive and compensatory damages for alleged regulatory deficiencies associated with plants included in its $4.2-billion purchase of DuPont’s Invista fibers business. Invista alleges that the acquired plants had more than 600 instances of regulatory noncompliance. Invista says it has spent approximately $140 million “to uncover, report, and correct DuPont’s safety and environmental violations.” Additional capital expenditures...
