Jury Awards Monsanto $1 Billion in Seed Patent Dispute

A federal jury has awarded Monsanto $1 billion in damages in a patent dispute with DuPont over the "stacking" of Monsanto's Roundup Ready (RR) herbicide-tolerance trait in DuPont's Optimum GAT (OGAT) seeds.
