House Passes Bill Requiring DHS to Streamline Process for Security Credentials2:34 PM MDT | July 2, 2012 | Kara Sissell The U.S. House of Representatives has passed a bill that would streamline the process for truckers and other personnel to obtain and renew a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC), a barometric-capable identity card that allows entry into secure areas of ports and other facilities.
