Four substances added to SVHC candidate list under Reach

The European Chemicals Agency (ECHA; Helsinki) has added four substances to the list of candidates for classification as substances of very high concern (SVHC) under the European Union’s Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation, and Restriction of Chemicals (Reach) regulation. The substances are cadmium chloride; sodium perborate; sodium peroxometaborate; and dihexyl-1,2-benzenedicarboxylate, both branched and linear isomers.
