Formosa Point Comfort fire impacts US HDPE supplies

A fire at Formosa Plastics’ Point Comfort, TX, on 2 May injured 16 people and shut down the PE-1 high-density polyethylene (HDPE) unit, which produces Formolene high-molecular-weight (HMW) HDPE bimodal resin.
