Feds Step Up Inspections for Popcorn Packaging Plants

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA; Washington) says it has created a “National Emphasis Program” for investigating worker exposure to diacetyl, an ingredient in microwave popcorn butter flavorings.
