Explosion Kills Two Workers at CDT Plant in Germany

Evonik Industries confirms that an explosion at the company’s cyclododecatriene (CDT) plant at its Marl, Germany complex on March 31 killed two workers. One worker died in the fire that was caused by the explosion, and the other died later at a specialized clinic due to injuries sustained in the blaze.
