European Commission amends list of chemicals subject to export notification

The European Commission has amended the list of chemicals subject to export notification, annex I, under the prior informed consent (PIC) regulation of 21 February, concerning certain hazardous chemicals and pesticides in international trade. The amendment applies from 1 May. Azinphos-methyl, perfluorooctane sulfonic acid, perfluorooctane sulfonates, perfluorooctane sulfonamides, and perfluorooctane sulfonyls should be removed from the list of chemicals contained in part two of annex I to regulation 689/2008 and added to the list of chemicals contained in part...
