Endosulfan, TBT may Join UN List

A committee of scientific advisers has recommended that the pesticide endosulfan and the biocide tributyl tin (TBT) be added to the list of substances subject to the United Nations (UN) Rotterdam Convention on exporting hazardous materials. Ministers from countries party to the convention will decide at a meeting next year whether to follow the recommendation and add the two substances to the 39 on the list.
