EPA to Review its Defense of Bush Perc Rule

EPA has temporarily withdrawn its challenge to a lawsuit brought by the Sierra Club, which sued the agency in 2006 to overturn its rule governing use of the dry cleaning solvent perchloroethylene (perc). The lawsuit was slated to go forward later this month, but EPA says it the new administration will review the issue before going forward.
