EPA Issues Final Boiler MACT Rule, Plans ‘Reconsideration’11:12 AM MST | February 28, 2011 | —Kara Sissell EPA has issued a court-ordered final rule for reducing air toxics emissions from industrial boilers. However, because the final rule differs significantly from the agency’s proposed rule, EPA says it expects an additional public comment period is necessary.
