EPA Approves Dow’s Spinetoram

Dow AgroSciences says it has received EPA approval for two insect-control products that use spinetoram, a recently developed active ingredient for controlling pests that are common in fruit and vegetable crops. EPA approved the spinetoram-based insecticide Delegate for use on tree fruit, grapes, and tree nuts; the agency also approved the spinetoram-based Radiant for use on vegetable crops.
