EFSA unable to reach conclusion on safety of Syngenta GM corn because of insufficient data

The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA; Parma, Italy) says it was unable to reach a conclusion on the safety of genetically modified (GM) corn 3272 after the applicant, Syngenta, failed to provide the necessary information for a full risk assessment to take place.
