EFSA develops new approach for cumulative risk assessment of pesticides

The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA; Parma, Italy) says it has pioneered a new approach that paves the way for implementation of cumulative risk assessment, a technique that enables assessment of the risk posed by simultaneous exposure to several pesticides.
