ECHA opens public consultations on authorization of diarsenic trioxide, lead chromate pigments

The European Chemicals Agency (ECHA; Helsinki) has opened public consultations on applications for authorization for the use of diarsenic trioxide, and the pigments lead chromate molybdate sulfate red (pigment Red 104) and lead sulfochromate (pigment Yellow 34). Authorization is one of the components of the European Union's Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation, and Restriction of Chemicals (Reach) regulations.
