Clariant doubles capacity for non-halogenated Exolit OP flame retardant in Germany

Clariant is today opening a second production unit for the non-halogenated Exolit OP flame retardant (FR) at the Hürth-Knapsack plant in Germany. The new facility doubles the capacity for the diethyl phosphinic acid aluminum salt-based FRs, used primarily in the electronics and electrical engineering (E&EE) sector.
