Chinese Authorities Review Food, Cosmetics and Healthcare Safety

The Chinese government says it has established an expert committee for cosmetics, food, and healthcare safety under the State Food and Drug Administration (SFDA; Beijing), to provide technical consultation and suggestions for policymakers. The committee consists of a 35-member food safety expert sub-committee, which includes a special board for technical standardization and a special board for risk assessment.
