China-EU trade talks on solar panels continue; China launches antidumping investigation into chlorine derivatives from the EU and US

Talks on imports by the European Union of solar panels originating in China continued during an informal trade meeting held between a Chinese delegation and EU trade commissioner Karel De Gucht on 27 May, according to the Ministry of Commerce (Beijing) and the European Commission.
