Cereplast receives patent protection for biodegradable polymers

Cereplast says that the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) has granted the company patent protection for its biodegradable nanopolymer compositions and other biodegradable articles, the first patent issued of its kind for biodegradable polymers, the company says.
