Cefic urges EU policy shift to reducing energy costs and ensuring chemical industry competitiveness

Cefic today released an energy road map, entitled European chemistry for growth: Unlocking a competitive, low-carbon and energy-efficient future. The European Union needs secure energy supplies, competitively priced with those of other countries, to deliver jobs and growth. Innovation and investment will also be crucial to reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and improving energy efficiency, to combat climate change, Cefic says.
