CFATS improvement bill introduced to House, Socma supports efforts

The Chemical Facility Anti-Terrorism Standards (CFATS) Authorization and Accountability Act of 2014 was introduced to Congress today by US Representative Michael McCaul (R-TX), chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee, endorsing current CFATS current framework while acknowledging opportunity for improvement, the Society of Chemical Manufacturers and Affiliates (Socma) announced today.
