Appeals Court Lifts Injunction on Gevo Isobutanol Sales

Gevo (Englewood, CO) says the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit has granted its motion to stay a status quo order entered on July 6th by the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware. The order prohibited Gevo from selling biobased isobutanol to the automotive fuels market pending Butamax Advanced Biofuels' (Wilmington, DE) appeal of the district court's decision denying its motion for a preliminary injunction. By granting Gevo's motion, the court determined that Gevo had, at a minimum, "established a substantial case on the merits."...
