EnviroTech :: Regulatory ACC July Chemical Activity Barometer Signals Weak Growth10:50 AM MDT | July 24, 2012 | Lindsay Frost ACC has released its Chemical Activity Barometer (CAB) for July 2012, indicating that growth in the second half of 2012 will be slow. The CAB was flat after three consecutive months of decline, which ACC says indicates slowing economic activity. “July data continues to suggest that broader U.S. economic growth in the second half of 2012 will be weak, while the CAB also suggests a slowing of U.S. exports during the rest of the year,” says Kevin Swift, chief economist at ACC. “Looking at the data, one bright spot for the economy is the positive...
