pH-sensitive Adhesive Takes Hold

John Tomich, professor of biochemistry, and Xiuzhi Sun, professor of grain science and industry at Kansas State University (KSU; Manhattan, KS) say they have secured a patent for a pH-dependent, peptide-based adhesive which becomes stronger as it dries. The patent was issued to the KSU Research Foundation, a nonprofit corporation responsible for managing technology transfer activities of KSU.
