US renewable chemical production tax credit introduced by new legislation

The Qualifying Renewable Chemical Production Tax Credit Act of 2013 has been introduced in the United States. The new legislation reduces taxes for US producers of renewable chemicals. Part of the objective is to encourage US producers to commercialize homegrown technology and build biorefineries. The act also provides renewable chemical producers with access to production tax credits currently available to renewable energy producers.
