Stora Enso acquires North American biotechnology company

Stora Enso (Helsinki) has acquired 100% of the shares of the Virdia (Danville, VA), a developer of extraction and separation technologies for converting cellulosic biomass into highly refined sugars and lignin, Stora Enso says.
