Solvay Opens Innovation Center in India

Solvay says it has today opened a new Research, Development and Technology Centre (RD&T Centre) at Savli in the state of Gujarat, India. The center will focus on the development of high-performance polymers, organic chemistry, nano composites and green chemistry. The center will employ over 200 researchers when fully operational. “I am convinced that India offers to Solvay significant growth opportunities and this center will be a key contributor to implement our strategy in the country,” says Jean-Pierre Clamadieu, CEO of Solvay.
