Shortage of Graduate Chemists Threatens Innovation in EU

The dearth of graduate chemists joining the chemicals industry in Europe as researchers is now “recognized” at the highest level as a threat to the industry, says Gernot Klotz, executive director, research and innovation at Cefic. “The HR issue is now back on the agenda at Cefic,” he says.
