Sabic-IP Opens Polymer Pilot Facility at Mt. Vernon, IN

Sabic Innovative Plastics (Sabic-IP; Pittsfield, MA) says it has opened a new pilot facility at Mt. Vernon, IN for chemistry and process development for its high performance polymers (HPP) sold under the trade name Ultem, Siltem and Extem. The facility will allow the company to more rapidly produce new polymers, particularly custom formulations, for customers.
