Rivertop Secures Grant to Build Semi-Works, Expand Labs

Biomaterials start-up Rivertop Renewables (Missoula, MT) has been awarded a $3.5 million grant to expand the company’s existing chemistry laboratories and build a semi-works production facility at its headquarters in Missoula.   The $3.5 million grant is comprised of a $1.75 million expansion grant awarded by the U.S. Commerce Department’s Economic Development Administration (EDA), and a matching $1.75 million from the University of Montana (Missoula), where the company’s technology originated.
