Pemex opens petchems R&D lab

The petrochemical business of Petróleos Mexicanos (Pemex, Mexico City) has inaugurated a technical assistance lab within the Mexican Petroleum Institute (IMP, Mexico City) with the support of the National Science and Technology Council (Mexico City), Pemex announced. The lab will help Pemex adopt new transformation processes, and develop new and improve existing petrochemical applications, Pemex says. The lab will also provide training, the company says.
