Navy Taps Cobalt and Albemarle for Biobased Jet Fuel

Cobalt Technologies (Mountain View, CA) and Albemarle have been awarded a contract by the Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD) for biobased jet fuel. Under the terms of the contract, Albemarle will deploy NAWCWD technology to process Cobalt’s biobased n-butanol to jet fuel at Albemarle’s Baton Rouge, LA facility.
