Myriant Begins Scaling Biobased Acrylic Acid Process

Myriant (Quincy, MA) says it is “immediately” initiating scale-up activities of biobased acrylic acid in order to ship kilogram-sized quantities for potential customers in the second half of 2012. The company has also filed for U.S. patent protection.
