Momentive Opens Transportation Applications Center

Momentive Specialty Chemicals has opened an applications center focused on the transportation market at its site in Duisburg, Germany. The new lab will perform R&D and testing functions for composites aimed at the automotive, aerospace and mass transit markets. The Duisburg site already has epoxy production and R&D capabilities, Momentive says.   Meanwhile, Momentive is rolling out new lines of epoxy resins aimed aimed at the automotive and wind turbine markets, among others.
