Michelin and French sugar, ethanol producer partner in biobased butadiene project

Michelin and sugar producer Tereos (Lille, France) have signed an agreement to pool their respective skills and capabilities with the goal of jointly developing innovative biomass-transformation processes capable of supplying, at the industrial-scale, alcohol required by Michelin's BioButterfly biosourced butadiene project, Tereos has announced.
