Keyuan Petrochemicals Signs R&D Agreement to Develop K-Resin Technology

Keyuan Petrochemicals (Ningbo, China) has signed an agreement with Ningbo Institute of Technology, an affiliate of Zhejiang University, to jointly develop technology and commercial applications for K-resin, a styrene butadiene copolymer. The company aims to complete the development work over the next two years. The product is currently used in packaging and plastic products, including medical instruments and toys.
