EnviroTech :: R&D Honeywell-USDC in Displays Pact11:52 AM MST | February 4, 2008 | Chemical Week Editorial Staff Honeywell Electronic Materials (Tempe, AZ) and U.S. Display Consortium (USDC; San Jose) will together invest a total of $500,000 to develop new materials for flexible electronic displays. Honeywell says it will work on developing materials to prevent short circuits in flexible displays, organic light-emitting diodes, and flexible photovoltaics for devices used by the U.S. military. This is the second research partnership between the two companies; the first resulted in the development of a planarizing material that improves the performance of flat-panel displays...
