Gevo Files Additional Infringement Claims Against Butamax

Gevo (Englewood, CO) says it has filed a fourth patent infringement suit against biobased isobutanol rival Butamax Advanced Biofuels (Wilmington, DE), alleging the DuPont-BP joint venture unlawfully uses a Gevo patent covering the elimination of enzymatic pathways in yeast that hijack carbohydrates and produce unwanted products.
