FMC to Evaluate Development and Commercialization of New Herbicide

FMC says it has agreed with Kumiai Chemical Industry (Tokyo) to evaluate the potential for development and commercialization of a new herbicide. The herbicide was developed in research laboratories of Kumiai, and Ihara Chemical (Tokyo). The companies will evaluate the new chemical on a number of global crops and weed problems over the coming years, FMC says. Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
