Evonik breaks ground on silanes research center in Germany

Evonik Industries announced today that it is investing double-digit million euros in a new research center at Rheinfelden, Germany. The center, which will start operating at the beginning of 2016 and focus on silanes, will house modern laboratories in the four-story building. It will employ up to 70 people.      Silanes are used in the electronics, construction, and tire industries, as well as adhesives, sealants, and plastics.
