Dowpharma Sells Pfenex Test Kits

Dowpharma says that biotechnology firm Cygnus Technologies (Southport, NC) has begun selling testing kits for Dowpharma’s biopharma protein expression system, dubbed Pfenex, based on Pseudomonas fluorescens bacteria. “This new kit will enable users of Dowpharma Pfenex Expression Technology to routinely test their products for the presence of host cell protein with a fully validated method,” says Charles Squires, R&D director/Dowpharma.
