Dow and Solazyme Sign Commercial Offtake Agreement

Dow Chemical says it has signed a contingent commercial offtake agreement with Solazyme (San Francisco), an  algae-based oils firm, for Solazymes to supply  oils for biobased dielectric insulating fluids. The deal advances a joint development effort the two firms began early last year.
