The European Union's research and innovation program, Horizon 2020, was launched this week by Máire Geoghegan-Quinn, European commissioner for research, innovation, and science. Cefic has welcomed the 'ambitious commitment by the European Union to fund excellent science and innovation activities in Europe.'
