Chemical Industry Weekly Innovation Round-up, November 11   In CW this week…   Solvay announced this week that they are going ahead with a major technology upgrade of its 360,000-m.t./year chlor-alkali complex at Tavaux, France at a cost of $115 million. The project will involve replacing mercury cells with a membrane-based process.
