Bayer Refocuses Ag Activities

Bayer says it will refocus strategy in its CropScience unit around four key strategies. The four strategies include restructuring of its crop protection business; improved customer focus across the “seed-to-shelf” value chain; refocusing of R&D, including a doubling of the budget on seeds and traits research; and extension of its seeds and traits business to new crops such as soybeans, rice, and wheat.
