BASF spending $25 million to expand research facility

BASF is spending $25 million to expand its R&D site at Beachwood, OH, to include cathode materials research and chemical and process engineering. The expansions will increase the number of employees at the site by 40, to 90. The expansions are expected to be complete early next year. The site at Beachwood currently houses catalysts and battery materials research.
